“When it comes to clothing in general I’m influenced by uniqueness and Japanese-Americana fashion. The trench coat and the trousers are from UFF, from their recent euro days, so both pieces cost me 3€. I bought the New Balances and the undershirt secondhand since I got a good price on both of them. The shirt is based on one of my favorite painters, Paul Gauguin’s, pieces during his brief tenure in Madagascar. If I had to describe what inspired this particular outfit I’d have to say it’s the end result of what happens when Czechoslovakian secret police meets Talented Mr. Ripley.”
